WeatherMax 80 is a highly water resistant and breathable fabric for covers, awnings, UV strips, upholstery, cushions, umbrellas and sun shades. An ideal solution for covers, awnings, UV strips, upholstery, cushions, umbrellas and sun shades. Using an Ottoman weave, which is a combination of a plain and basket weave, this fabric offers the best combination of strength, durability and stability, with a firm feel and subtle ribbed texture, refined to the eye and luxurious to the hand. WeatherMax 80 weighs 271g per sq metre (WeatherMax LT weighs 220g per sq metre).

WeatherMax fabric is highly breathable but still highly water resistant, reducing dampness, heat build up and condensation and subsequently the chances of problems such as, mould, mildew, osmosis etc. It has the highly water repellent impregnated finish HydroMax to protect against heavy rain whilst retaining its breathability and dimensional stability. The finish is also highly resistant to dirt and staining, with an added anti-microbial component to help prevent potential mildew or mould growth on top of the fabric.

Made from SaturaMax yarn, a solid pigment, solution dyed polymer yarn, means the colour is physically part of the polymer yarn itself which offers superior colour consistency, light fastness and strength characteristics. The filament yarns can be stretched but recover to their original length completely, providing a very stable cover that will not shrink, grow of sag.
