The Rutgerson Super Ring system leads the way in a new generation of sailmaking hardware. The SR rings are made of a high grade molybdenum stainless steel (better than AISI 316). The rings are made up of three parts: toothed washer, centre piece and plastic insert.

The Super Ring was invented by Göran Rutgerson, CEO and owner, during the 70’s and it has since then lead the way of cost efficient solutions in sailmaking. The Super Ring is made of high grade Swedish stainless steel and is being refined in a complex system of forming and blanking dies. When inserted into a cloth, the Super Ring’s teeth penetrate easily without damaging the surrounding areas. In addition to this, the teeth of the Super Ring are evenly spaced to provide maximum holding power as they bend uniformly to spread the load.
