CL233BP is a Backplate for Clamcleat CL233 Sail Line Cleat. Using a backplate when attaching a cleat to cloth will provide a stronger fixing as the backplate will prevent the stitching/rivets pulling though the fabric in extreme conditions. Can be purchased separately or with the CL233.
